This local museum is a treasure. Fabulous parking, wonderful children's shows at the Bickford Theater, and special events that attract attention both near and far. It is certainly worth a visit. Wonderful trips for members and programs for children. Always a favorite for school trips. Good docents to assit your needs. more

Good Museum 8/21/2005

This museum is a nice choice for a local museum that is extremely convenient and child friendly.While it cannot compete with museums in New York City, I do not think that it intends to do so. Rather, it provides a welcome alternative for an extremely easy place to visit with children.The gift shop is nice. more
