Groups offered at the center include anger management, relapse prevention, education, and risk reduction, marijuana group, DWI multiple offenders, EAP services, elderly support services, women's group, and men's recovery group. An AA meeting for men is held every Thursday evening at the center. Support groups for men and women over 55 are also held at the council offices every Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 10am. The center also distributes information regarding senior issues and addiction throughout the lower Naugatuck Valley area. The center provides referrals to those who need a higher level of care and also acts as a source of referral for clients who need outside support services.
