For the uninitiated, kolaches (at least in Texas) are sweet dough filled with a meat and cheese or some sort of fruit filling. They are absolutely delicious. My favorite kolaches are from Mornings Kolaches. They are made fresh in the morning and I think the store stays open until they sell out. The jalapeno kolaches in particular are outstanding here. Everytime I go down to Houston, they are a must have.
