I ventured here for the tour with my girlfriend and I seen so much chocolate and so many varieties that just thinking about it makes me ill. So much sugar... Yuck!!! I actually love sweets but seeing all this junk food all at the same time. Whew!!! I know a lot of women who work in the factory so it must be easy to get a job in there. I really surprized myself by walking away without buying a thing. more

Free Candy Factory Tour! 8/19/2005

This awesome candy maker offers free factory tours but advance registration is required for a group guided tour. But, you can do a self-guided walking tour any time from 9-3 Monday through Friday. They have a 70 foot glass observation hallway where you can see the candy makers at work (think Lucy and Ethel) Best of all they have FREE samples! Be sure to check out the candy shop, they offer all kinds of hand made specialties. I especially like their Pecan Turtles. This is a fun trip for scouts or school trips. more
