Morley Animal Hospital

A few months ago, one of my 2 15 yr old cats became suddenly ill, I had to take him to an animal hospital as close by as I could. Within 15 minutes the vet on call was recommending that I put him to sleep. I did and was devestated. A month later my other cat showed similar symptoms, my brother had been to Morley before and took us there. They saw us right away, very friendly, made my scared kitty be fairly calm and for a small office visit charge he took care of him and sent me back home with my kitty, ( I was scared I was not going to be bringing him back home either). Morley took really good care of my brothers cat too, very reasonable fee. They are my #1 vet, won't go anywhere else if I have a choice. more

'vet who truly loves animals and not out to rob u blind' About 2 weeks ago we found 4 baby kitty's approx 2 weeks old. the cat lover I am brought them home and have been bottle feeding them. well yesterday one of them was acting funny and his leg was swollen.i thought maybe he got stepped on and was either broken or dislocated. I took him to two different vets yesterday, VCA Parkwood Animal Hospital and Southern Ca Vet Hospital.Southern Ca Vet Hospital wouldn't even look at him unless i made an appointment or they could take him right then but i would have to pay double for the office visit. VCA Parkwood Animal Hospital the vet tech looked at him said he definitely needed x rays that with the office visit would be $220 dollars that I don't have. I took my kitty home because that vet tech also said the injury wasn't life threatening and could Waite till the next day. I went home crushed because i had spent two weeks mothering them and it looked like i might loose one because I couldn't afford a vet. A friend of mine put in a call to a family friend who owns EE Pet Kennel off of Muholand she in turn referred me to Morley Animal Hospital. when I walked in I was greeted by the nicest people. Dr Morley came out while i was filling out paper work and took the sick kitty while the other three were being loved on by the nurses. by the time I walked up with the paperwork not 5 minuets later Dr. Morley without x-ray's advised me the kitty was not broken he had an abscess. he then took his temp and told me it was 105 witch is dangerously high. that's funny the other place told me it wasn't life threatening well he was wrong. Anyway Dr. Morley gave the kitty a shot and some medicine to give him at home. the grand total for everything $56. thank you Dr. Morley for caring more about my kitty than how much money you could get out of me. its nice to know there are still good people out there that care about something other than the all mighty dollar. you guys rock! more

I've gone to see Dr. Morley a few times with my mini yorkie, and he's always been very kind and available. He's also the cheapest vet I've found, fixing my dog was about 70 dollars cheaper with him. However I think he is a little heavy handed. When my mini yorkie was 2 lb. and had kennel cough he gave her two shots which seemed like a little much, and when she got fixed something didn't seem right. My pup pulled out her stitches and had to go back in for more. When he pulled them out he had me hold her and he just yanked the stitches out. She has a pretty deep scar now, I think I would of rather payed the extra 70 bucks. more
