Definitly more than a carpenter, a theif a liar and a scam. Did some work for him in chicago recently. He still has not returned my calls or paid me for my labor. He bid the job short and in the middle of the job he raised the price on the customer because of labor and made me do all of the work and never paid me. Oh Dennis you know who this is too ass hole more

I read the review that April1225 posted and it is really a shame that jilted girlfriends are allowed to publish reviews that slander a good carpenter. I have personally had many projects completed by More Than A Carpenter and have never found fault with any of his work. His skills with wood is truly amazing and the room addition he put on my house is awesome. Pros: Hardworking, very honest and reasonably priced more

Bad Service! Scammer! 9/20/2008

Left many messages for Dennis Smith with no return call on warrenty work. Goes by two names for the business. Total scammer. Found out he was not paying his workers either...and has not completed work for others. Did not finish job in a timely manner. Stated he was moving to St. Charles so his location changed. \r Would not recommend. Cons: Does not repair warrenty work and bad customer service more
