Relax at Moran’s 3/11/2009

Me and my buddies usually go to Moran’s for drinks. With a friendly bartender serving us cold drinks, we just relax while talking about the baseball season. Pros: Great place to hangout more

Moran?s is definitely a great place to check out in Manhattan! The food is really good and the atmosphere is comfy and relaxing. It?s not loud?you don?t have to scream at your friends to be heard. If you?re ever downtown, check it out! more

A really great place in lower Manhattan 2/12/2009

I've been going to Moran's for over 10 years. If I'm with clients for lunch or with friends for a beer after work the food is always very good, the atmosphere friendly and comfortable, and the staff always looking to make you feel at home. I think it's one of the best places in lower Manhattan. more

Great place for dinner and drinks 12/2/2008

A lively scene but not so loud to prevent conversation. Calamari with peppers was a pleasantly interesting twist for an appetizer. I found the main courses to be ok, not great. I enjoyed the sides (steak fries and portobellos) more than the mains (swordfish and a rich lobster/baked cod combo). The service was far more pleasant and attentive than prior reviews led me to expect. A nice experience, but it didn't ... me away. more

Ok food but nothing special! 10/7/2008

I visited this place a couple of times this month. The first time with my parents and the second time with 3 friends. I sampled the food trying to catch that special flavor that could justify the hype ... but we all agreed that the food is ok. he same you can get almost everywhere that serve similar menues.....The service was rushed and unfriendly. more

Eat great, drink greater 9/8/2008

I have been going to bars my whole life with my family owning two. I tend to judge all \r bars on three aspects; food, price, and atmosphere. Now when grading Morans I gave \r all three an A+. The food was terrific, the happy hour will keep the wallet somewhat \r heavy, and the bartenders made great conversations during the Giants game Thursday night. \r An overall fun place to go and have a cold beer!! more

Cozy and tasteful 8/22/2008

I am used to visiting the same places all the time. But I can tell you that here, I had a lot of fun and the food is just great. I?ll definitely keep coming here as the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. more

Moran?s is a cozy place with great food. I live in the area and I love to stop by. It reminds me of my mother?s cooking in the kitchen, but with a hip twist. more
