I see they they haven't change since 7/29/08. Beer was good but after that forget it. Expensive and not worth the stop. The other GOOD reviews must have been written by the owners. more

Very busy tourist type place 8/4/2008

This place is a very busy tourist attraction so sometimes the service suffers but give it a chance. I love this place. The food is good, they have great ribs and even good pizza, great soup. We have always been pretty luck on service here, and the prices are affordable. Great place to come with family and friends. more

Not that great 7/29/2008

A friend highly recommended this place but we were very disappointed. The pizza was mediocre and certainly overpriced for how it tasted. The cheese sticks were average at best. The atmosphere was very loud and wasn't easy to carry on a conversation. Our waiter was slow and borderline obnoxious. If we had to do it all over again, we would have went elsewhere. I won't be back. Pros: game area Cons: service, price, waiting time more

Best pizza, customer service and family friendly environment around 7/7/2008

This is the best pizza experience we have had in years. We have lived and visited all over this country and this stands out above them all. There is absolutely something for everyone from a bar on all three floors to an arcade and then a large screen tv with couches for game fans while waiting. To top it all off we had dinner for 4 with ALL the extras from appetizers, salads and more for under $50. A must go for anyone. Pros: Plenty to do for all while waiting, fast service, very economical Cons: Busy, and on the loud side more

Great restaurant for the family 6/24/2008

We dined at Moose Jaw last year during our family's summer vacation in Wisconsin Dells. The oversized cartoon moosehead on the outside of the restaurants drew us in!\r \r We ate on the basement level where there is a game area for the children. This came in handy for the little ones while waiting for the meal. There was also plenty of elbow room for our large party.\r \r The only drawback was the individual pizza portions. It was a lot less for the money that we paid. \r \r Overrall great experience and great food! more

Bad mozzarella on pizza, great beer! 1/22/2008

My first visit to Mosse Jaw was about two years ago. They used the freshest ingredients on there pizza and there dough was incredible. The beer is always out of this world as well. Unfortunately, the last two times over the past year they have decided to go with a cheaper mozzarella on there pizzas. The cheese is gooey and has a snotty texture. You can always tell if a restaraunt uses nasty cheese because it will have this snotty feel and look to it. This is unfortunate because I know people that have stopped going there because of this. My wife and I will not be going back for at least a year. Too bad, they used to have great pizza. Pros: Incredible beer and ambience is cool. Cons: Mozzarella on pizza tastes and looks like snot! more

Great food & beer! 1/9/2008

We love the Moose Jaw. It is pretty spendy (80.00 for lunch for 4), but it is a fun place and the food is yummy! They brew their own beer on-site, and provide sample glasses so you can choose the one you prefer. The pizza is delicious, as are the sandwiches and salads. In fact, we have not been disappointed with anything. The decor is rustic with animal heads on the walls. There is a video arcade on the lower level for the kids to enjoy while the adults relax. They offer delivery in their "Moose-mobile" - their huge mascot moose lies on the top of the delivery car. We do visit sometimes when we are in the Dells - but as I said - it is pricey. A fun experience, however. more

Unfortunately we didn't discover Moosejaw last trip until we were on our way home. The food was wonderful, the service was about the best we ever had and the atmosphere was fun. We will definitely eat there at least once on our next trip - probably more! Pros: service, food, atmosphere more

Tasty and fun 12/14/2004

Moosejaw has some of the best homemade pizza I've ever had. You have to try their beer as well. Start with the sampler--they have a great collection of dark beer. You can also take some home. However great the beer may be, when we visited Moosejaw was a family place, with lots of kids screaming, kicking and throwing things around. And you can count on Moosejaw to always have treats for the kids. So if you're looking for a quiet, romantic place where you can sit for a long time, this is not it. Bad Experience 8/9/2003

After driving 4 long hours, my family and I were all starving and Moosejaw looked like a very nice place to dine. The food was good, the resturant was clean, comfortable, and very out-doorsy. But the service was beyond horrible! Being servers ouselves, my mother and I generally give people the benefit of the doubt, but our server was really bad! We ordered the moosewings as an app...they were VERY good! But not 5 minutes into them we were given our soup. Not 5 minutes into our soup, our steaks were pushed at us. Before we were half done, she asked us if we wanted anything else. We were rushed out of there 45 minutes after we sat down! To top it off, we asked for our moosewings to be wrapped and she threw them out AND THEN still charged us for them. We will NEVER go back there again!
