Customer Service is not a priority for this restaurant.We had a young hostess who sat two sets of people before us and told us she took us off the list - We Were WAITING for a table. She then got snotty and basically had the attitude - oh well. Food can be good, atmosphere nice, but look out for the people working there! more

Fish Fry 3/28/2008

Do not ever order a fish fry from this establishment. We have enjoyed this restaurant for the past few years but were extremely disappointed by our experience today. For $12.99, I got 3 very overcooked pieces of fish that were obviously cooked in old oil. I couldn't even get through one bite. The pierogi was soggy and the coleslaw was warm. I guess that's what I get for ordering carryout. more

Good Food on the Right Side of the Tracks 4/16/2006

The Moosehead has limited seating and can be hard to get into on evenings and weekends, but the food is awesome and the atmosphere is great. The decor plays on the Bay Village/Westlake rivalry which makes it extra fun for locals. The french fries and burgers are some of the best I've ever had and the beer is always cold. Cool place for lunch and small groups of friends. more

Moosehead Saloon- a small treasure! 3/28/2006

We used to live down the block from this small,. quaint restaurant. With a number of visits there, we were always very pleased with the food - especially the homemade potato chips! The setting is great but can easily get crowded so try to go during off-hours or be prepared to stand very close to others waiting for a table. Be leary of the gift cert policy - we were given one and never realized it expired in a short 6 months. Money down the drain and no cooperation from mgmt. more
