I have visited this place twice to get my sewing machine fixed and twice was told that I had a cheap crappy machine. My first machine was a brother and the guy told me it would be $200 to fix the problem and that I could buy a new machine for $400, a Singer. I just came back with my relatively new, mid grade Singer with a timing issue and he told me it would be $170 to fix and again, I should purchase the $400 machine, a Brother. He also proceeded to dog on Singer as a brand.\r I searched around and found a place that would fix the problem for $50. This place may advertise they fix machines but they just want to sell you a new one. I'll never go back, even if I ever want that $400 machine; someone else will get my business. more

I love Moore's 2/2/2012

I just love this store and the friendly and knowledgeable people who work at this store. I'm always greeted with a smile and ""How can we help you today"". I belong to a couple of sewing clubs that Moore's offers, which helps me improve my skills. Moore's has awaken my love of sewing. The staff will alway help you find just the right thing for your sewing project. more

GREAT PLACE FOR EMB/SEW MACHINES, VACS & FANS 12/29/2011

I have been a customer for over 12 years and I have found the Center to be MOST helpful. I have purchased several great emb/sew machines which they have ensured that I was well trained through their free classes. The staff is available in the store to assist. I feel like they are part of my family. The monthly Sew Fun Club is wonderful for they demonstrate new products and offer the products at a great discount. Their repair service on emb/sew machine is completed in a timely manner. They have selection of notions, threads and fabrics for sewing/embroidery needs. more

BE AWARE! 7/1/2010

I brought in an old work-horse sewing machine (that belonged to my great-grandmother) No plastic pieces....all steel, great condition, just needed a lube and tune. Got the estimate, yet couldn't afford to have it worked on until the following pay check or two. Left the machine with them. When I finally had the money to have it worked on.....THEY HAD SOLD IT WITHOUT SO MUCH AS A COURTESY CALL! They obviously knew it was worth some money. I will never patronize they're establishment again! Beware.......read the tiny print on their paperwork! THIEVES. Pros: ZERO, ZERO, ZERO Cons: RIP YOU OFF more
