The only reason we chose to purchase furniture from this store was because they were a local Distributor of Hooker Furniture. We placed an order over the phone for a desk and lateral file cabinet on 01/08/2010.\r

The sales person, Kathy, asked us to call her in 2 weeks to inquire about the status. You NEVER ask a customer to call you back you ALWAYS inform the customer that you will contact them on the status of their purchase. \r

We call 3 weeks later to inquire about the status and they asked us for the sales reps name who we placed the order with, and at the time, we didn't have the paper with the name of the sales reps who assisted us. They informed us (with an attitude) that it has to be the Sales Rep who assists us. We asked polite if they could just look up the order with our name and the person on the phone gave a big huff about finding this information for us. Finally we get the Sales Rep who we placed the order with and she said she didn't have any information on the status. So we call back a week later and again no status so we asked Kathy she could call us when she does have a status. \r

A few days went by and we receive a call from Kathy informing us that the Furniture has shipped and they will call us for the delivery information. \r

2 weeks went by and we receive a Thank You card from Kathy but we still hadn't received our furniture. So we call and she was surprised that we hadn't received it yet. We asked if we could get a tracking number and she informed us that they don't have that information. So we asked her to call Hooker Furniture inquire about it, she said they are closed and she won't be in tomorrow. At this point you can only imagine we were extreremly frustrated! We insisted that we wanted a tracking number and for them to call us back. She said she would have one of her coworkers inquire about it the next day and call us back. \r

By 1 PM the next day we still hadn't heard from them so we called. The lady that answered the phone said oh we are expecting a shipment tomorrow but they didn't know what was on it and then proceded to say that Kathy told her to call us in 2 days instead of the next day. The lady said she would call and find out then give us a call back. We never heard from them that day. \r

At 10 AM the next morning I called to find out why we didn't receive a call back. She said that they didn't pick up the phone so she left a message and are waiting for them to call her back with the tracking number. A simple phone call with that status would have made us felt appreciated as customers!!! Absolutely the WORST customer service. \r

We finally receive a call back later that afternoon and we were told that it hadn't even shipped yet and it probably won't be shipping until 03/01/10! We asked them to call us when they are certain our furntire has shipped. I guess we will see if that happens.
