I don't know much about Korean food, and as a vegetarian, didn't sample a wide variety at Jung Sung, but the atmosphere at this place already merits a visit. The refrigerator where the beer's stored is visible from most of the dining tables, the restaurant has this nice open feel to it, and after your food's been served, the Korean version of your mom comes out and makes sure you like it. The experience itself was so nice. I had the dol sot bi bim bop and some of the kim chi soup (there were chunks of some animal meat in it, because we forgot to order it veggie) and both were simple and flavorful. We also had some ""hite"" beers.
Pros: service, simplicity of menu, home-style atmosphere, get there via blue line
