Our Philosophy
Here's our take on things...
Excellence in Our Field:
After years of working as a Nanny myself, it seemed the natural next step to move toward setting a new standard for childcare services in the Charlottesville area by referring nannies who are educated, experienced, and trustworthy to the families who need them.
We are committed to serving the community by being a reliable resource for safe, excellent childcare. Monticello Nannies strives to make finding the best caregivers simple, the way it should be.
It makes sense to us to keep our business local. That way we really get to know our families and nannies, and can provide a high level of personal service. This business is all about relationships, after all.
Respect for My Caregivers:
Early on in my child care career I realized the importance of what I had chosen to do. When I experienced the gratitude of the families and the love of the children, it became clear that my presence provided them with more than just child care. I was an integral part of the family, taken into homes and trusted with the most precious of treasures.
Because I recognize the value of a good nanny, I am committed to treating our nannies with respect and providing them with the means to further their career. I strive to facilitate open communication between families and nannies during the hiring process so as to ensure that the working relationship is a harmonious one for everyone involved.
Social Responsibility:
I believe that businesses are accountable to the community in which they operate and should follow socially responsible practices which include recycling, patronizing other local businesses, and giving back monetarily to the needy, among other things. Monticello Nannies donates a percentage of profits to children¿s charities annually.
