Montgomery Auto Group

I purchased a car from Montgomery Auto Group in Feb. 2013 only to discover they sold me a car without a catalytic converter installed on it, which is illegal in Mo. And that was just the beginning of the problems. Within 6 weeks of purchasing the car the motor blew, breaks went out, the clutch, exhaust system, the power steering, and so many other things have had to be replaced, and the list just keeps growing. To date my 12 thousand dollar car has cost me 22 thousand dollars. The only help I have gotten from Montogmery Auto Group was with the Catalytic converter prob. because they knew they were caught breaking the law. They have now gone out of business because they were selling cars without access to the title and other questionable business practices. Please, if anyone out there plans on buying a car from Robby or Sherry Montgomery DONT DO IT! Take your money elsewhere and buy from a reputable dealer. I give Montgomery Auto Group a 1 star only because there is no Negative star rating option. more

When we spoke on the phone the car was represented honestly and there were no behind closed door negotiations. Their pricing was very fair and their service was better than carmax.
