Montessori Children's Center

I am a father of two kids, one 5 who's entering first grade and another 2 who's starting at Montessori Children's Center this September. My 5 year old just finished his education at Montessori Children's Center and he is entering first grade ahead of all his class in both reading and math. After 3 years of driving to and from this school every Monday-Friday I couldn't wait to start my second born here. The best part about this school is its environment. If you go into the classrooms, its not messy or disorganized. it's very neutral but at the same time intimate but allowing room for a child to work alone or in groups. Also, everything is child sized and I could tell plenty of customization when into the furnishings. There is nothing in the classroom that speaks to the adult, everything speaks to the child, which allows the staff to focus on my kids. Speaking of the staff; they are very nice and polite people, I am always greeted with a smile and spoken to in a pleasant tone by teachers, aids, as well as the office personnel. I would recommend any child to go here. more

The Montessori at 3170 Lake Mead Drive, Fremont, CA 94555-1234. Was dirty unprofessional and unsympathetic. I went for a tour and saw a kid in their pre 2 year old section with buggers hanging out. The teachers are given janitorial job as well as day care teacher. Their focus was neither in cleanliness nor the kids! I don't know how they stay open. I tried to ask the Directory some questions Mrs. Khan and she was outright rude. You ask what did I ask. I asked her how does she gage her teachers progress. She didn't answer and told me that shouldn't be my concern! She literally kick me out! For that question (also to be fare) I also pointed out the kid with bugger hanging out all the way to his mouth. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS THERE!! more

We love this school. My son started there when he turned 3 and we are amazed on how much he is learning. His knowledge is expanding rapidly. He is educated on many many things that you would not see 3 year old talk about... He is already reading, doing additions. They focus a lot on the motor skills which is very important. -Yael more

I love Montessori! I went there when I was a little kid and my daughter goes there now. The teachers are extremely nice and Montessori emphasizes a lot on education. All the kids have fun and even though the prices may be a little high, I believe it's definetely worth it! more
