Montessori American School

This is my daughter's second year at Montessori American School and we couldn't be happier. Their staff is amazing!! The teachers are very committed and devoted to every child and their needs. They treat their children with so much love and care. Their program is a great combination of academics, creativity, learning, socialization, discipline and nurturing. My daughter is excited to go to school every day and loves her teachers. I couldn't be happier with this school and they have exceeded my expectations. It's no wonder they are four time award winner for best preschool in Chula Vista. I have recommended Montessori American School to my close friends and would highly recommended to anyone looking for a preschool/kindergarten for their children. more

I am a very proud mother of two beautiful girls. Both attended this facility for three+ years and graduated from the school. The staff is absolutely incredible and very nurturing. The size of the school is not overwhelming to the children and the feeling is that of a very close extended family. Both of my girls still ask to visit the school and often talk about how they miss it. They do not miss a beat and the school is extremely clean with every single detail in order. Mrs. Edits makes sure that she gives the very best to our children each and every day and it shows through the quality of the education and the staff she has chosen. I have no regrets and have referred my closest friends to the school. My closest friend just enrolled his 3 year old son who cannot stop talking about how much he loves his new school. I have so many things to say that I don't know where to start! I am a VERY protective mom who was anxious and nervous about sending my child to preschool for the first time. However, Montessori American School won me over very quickly and allayed all my fears! This preschool/kindergarten is the perfect blend of academics, culture appreciation, and socialization. They foster independence, creativity, and a genuine pride in learning in all of their students. The entire staff is dedicated to guiding each child in discovering and maximizing their strengths while encouraging them to tackle new tasks/learning experiences they may not be familiar with. This staff also provides a very nurturing environment which I was very drawn to and one I had not observed with other schools when I was choosing a school for my daughter (and believe me, I looked!). This is the best school you will find for your young children! They have the BEST teachers! Everyone is so nice and caring, they really are interested in each child's needs! My son was SUPER HAPPY here! HIGHLY recommend this school! more

My son has made leaps and bounds since he started school at Montessori American. His teachers are wonderful, he feels safe and loved, and he comes home everyday telling me all the wonderful things he's learned! It is a little on the expensive side, but if you can afford it, it is a great place for your little one to learn to love "learning". more
