I have been taking my car here for about 6 months. At first it seemed like the perfect place, Dan was always nice, they seemed to be giving me a break on the prices to fix my car, and everything seemed great. However, I began to suspect something was wrong when I started needing to bring my car in every month with a different problem. After 2 years of having no problems it seemed odd that so many problems could happen at once. But, I let it go because I didn't want to seem paranoid. It was only after my last interaction that I discovered just how awful Valley Tire is. For the past two months I have been having trouble with my car smoking - first they replaced the radiator and told me I should be good but to watch for a coolant leak. A month later my car was smoking again so I took it back and they replaced the seal on the coolant (and did not refill the coolant tank by the way) and they told me I was set. The next time I drove the car it was still smoking, and in fact it was smoking so bad that it was pouring into the cab so bad that I had to roll down my windows. I took the car back and Dan told me that it wasn't smoking, that there was no problem. I was shocked! I was chocking on smoke that morning and the car continued to smoke all day and all Dan could tell me was that there was actually no problem and he would not be refunding any of the money I paid him to fix a problem that he didn't fix. This set him off, he yelled at me over the phone, informed me that I was incorrect about my own problem, patronized me, and made sure that I knew he thought I was an idiot. They don't stand behind their work, they don't work with their customers, they don't even make sure that they fix the problem. Dan seems nice, just don't piss him off by second-guessing the work he provides...I will be informing the BBB, I just wanted to let everyone know that these guys are not the ones you want to take your car to for any type of issue.
