I called Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection to handle a water emergency for a rental property on a Sunday. The company responded quickly and a crew came to the property within two hours. The technicians used the parts I supplied, which made the repairs cheaper for me. The crew was very polite, super efficient, and cleaned up after the work was complete. They billed me later and the price was reasonable. I received great service for a winter weekend. I used this company before at my home and received equally good service then. I recommend Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection for trustworthy, prompt service. more

Very good service 5/29/2015

I have worked with Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection for about eleven years and I am always very pleased with services. The technicians are always very thorough. Customers are charged for a minimum of a half an hour, but the technician will check out the plumbing in the rest of your house if they finish with their scheduled work early. When I need help with anything related to plumbing, I call Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection. Their service is well worth the money and I appreciate the extra time they take to ensure that our plumbing is in good working order. more

Fast, professional, and friendly 5/12/2015

Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection has serviced my home several times and I am always impressed with the professional, knowledgeable staff. I called them the first time because there was a foul aroma in my home and the technician fixed the problem by pouring water down basement drain. The second time, I had slow draining sinks and they repaired those and fixed my reverse osmosis system. They are always very quick to respond and attentive to the needs of their customers, whatever the size of the problem. I appreciated that they kept me informed about where they are throughout the day so I knew pretty accurately when they would arrive. The service crew is very professional, timely, and informative, and everyone on the staff is friendly, smart, and nice. more

A very fine experience. 4/30/2015

We had a very fine experience with Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection. We have an elevated toilet in the basement, so they had to put in a new y-joint to have it fit in. They were efficient and did the job in a timely fashion. They did a great job, and I would definitely use them again. more

They are also slightly less expensive than nearby competitors. Their technicians were friendly, knowledgeable, and nice to deal with. I would recommend them. more

Quick and awesome service. 1/7/2015

Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection gets the job done quickly. We had a leak with our toilet on the second floor, and after the connector broke it started to flood and continued throughout the house. After we had gotten remediation to dry the house out, we contacted flooring people. When they came out, they said that it looked as though the toilet was not installed properly, and that we needed to contact a plumber before they could finish their work. We gave Monona a call and they came out right away. They installed it properly and promptly, and after the flooring was done we had no trouble getting them to come in again to finish the work. I used an online coupon, so I was able to get the service call for free! They were absolutely terrific, did a great job, and we have not had any problems since. We're actually thinking about hiring them again to do our other two bathrooms. When you're trying to get your bathroom put back together, you want it done promptly. These are the guys to call. more

Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection is excellent from start to finish. They worked on a garbage disposal problem that I had. They were very prompt and thorough. I liked how they explained things very well. They took care of everything and explained what my options were and what I needed to work on. I would definitely hire them again. more

The responsiveness of Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection made us very pleased with their services. We had an issue with our water heater and we called their business after hours since it was an emergency. A technician called us back right away and they came over to fix it. The plumber at Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection was very friendly, helpful and informative. They serviced two different houses of mine. One house needed a pipe gas line for the gas dryer and the other house needed a gas leak fixed. They were very prompt. more

Plumber was highly competent and explained things well. 9/22/2014

This was the first time I went with Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection. They helped me a little while back with a leaky refrigerator. They were able to identify the issue, and solve it by cutting a hole in the ceiling to fix the pipe that was causing the issue. The plumber cleaned the area after his service was completed very well. He also let us know how to handle any issues with it in the future. I will use them again in the future. more

Friendly and professional 9/8/2014

I was referred to Monona Plumbing by a friend, and I have been really pleased with their service so far. I usually call them during some sort of plumbing crisis and they are always very prompt in their response. They are able to come right away or whenever works best for me, and they make sure to communicate clearly to keep me updated on their arrival time. The technicians are friendly, professional, and great to deal with. They are thorough in their work and they are able to solve the problem every time. One time I had a broken garbage disposal which needed replacing, and the technician had all of the necessary parts available in his truck which was great. I also appreciate that they provide me with information that I didn't know about plumbing so that I can try to avoid future issues. It's a great service all around and I highly recommend them. more
