I honestly live 3 blocks from Molly's, yet I advise everyone to skip this place. The neighborhood of Soulard is about casual friendly living and it's bars reflect that mentality. Molly's tries to create the ""upscale"" big city lounge where it doesn't belong. I asked the bartender upstairs one night, ""What's the cheapest drink you have""? Usually I get a response like, ""We have $2 PBR's tonight"", I'll say, ""Great! I have one of those"". At Molly's, this guy told me to get the hell out of ""his"" bar and don't come back. Nice way to treat a neighbor, huh? I asked him how much was a Bud Light. He said it was $3.50. I tied to order another one later, but he refused to serve me told me I was a cheap a**. All because I asked him a simple customer question.
Pros: Good people watching
Cons: Bad service, no food
