The office is neat and clean. Dr. Mo explains everything completely and professionally. However, he is very pricy which I thought comes with a good dentist. But I have noticed that he is arrogant and dishonest. When I first went to him, he prepared a long list of work that I needed on my teeth. Since the amount was too much, I financed through a third party (Care Credit) he contracts with. Due to my work schedule I could not get some work done and told him that I will be doing that later. It was an agreement between us that he would complete the remaining work when I was available. Later on, I had to get an emergency treatment which required a crown. So I got the treatment which he did superbly but he failed to properly read the x-rays. He kept saying that the tooth I needed crown for also needed a root canal but I told him that the tooth he was referring to already had one but he did not listen. It was not the tooth that was aching. Finally, he looked at my teeth and realized his mistake. After the treatment I was in a lot of pain for three days. I could not sleep for first few nights. I called his office every day for an alternate medicine for pain but every time they said they would call back but never did. \r

When I got the new treatment, he had changed his whole staff. Previous two ladies did not work there anymore. Since the treatment cost much more than expected, I financed through Care Credit again and I asked his new accountant to apply the amount from previous unfinished treatment towards the one I had just got but she started making excuses. First she said I didn’t have any balance they owed me. When I persisted, she said she was new and did not know. Then she lied that Care Credit pays them when they do the treatment and since they have not done it, they have not gotten paid which means they cannot reimburse me. Then I called Care Credit and asked them about it. They explained that they pay the full amount to the dentist and collect it from the customer in installments so they had paid fully to the dentist. So I called doctor’s office again and explained it to her. Realizing that her lies have been exposed, she said she would audit my account and then get back to me which took 3 weeks. At last, she said I had no balance because they had deep cleaned my wife’s teeth. When I argued that such was not possible because she never goes to any doctor alone (because she can’t speak English) and she only got the general cleaning with me, the lady said she will talk to the doctor. I asked for a copy of my file which she made excuses to not provide it to me. When I said I wanted to speak to the doctor, she said he couldn’t come to the phone. When I asked if he would have few minutes after his last appointment to speak to me in person, she again refused. After much frustration, I scheduled an appointment during which this newly hired accountant tells me that instead of owing me any balance, I owe them. I was really surprised. She said, the insurance did not pay them the full amount so they used my balance to compensate for the difference. This was again a lie because the amounts are pre-negotiated with the insurance. So I ended up losing more than 600 dollars with no treatment.\r

My overall experience with Dr. Mo especially his staff is horrible. They don’t call if your appointment is cancelled. One of the ladies at the front desk never smiles or says hello. They lie and are deceitful. They overcharge and never keep their word about calling back. In all fairness, he does nice work but I am not willing to deal with a dishonest, deceitful, selfish and greedy doctor and his staff.
