You will not leave this place hungry. The decor screams "old neighborhood bar" but the food is very good and the service excellent. Get their blue cheese dressing on your salad - it is homemade and very good. The portions were good and everything cooked to our liking. more

Here's the beef 12/8/2008

This is such a neat restaurant. The prime rib is the best I have ever tasted. Real horseradish. None of this cream stuff. Portions are huge. Desserts can be a meal by themselves. more

Best Place to eat in Traverse City! 6/3/2006

My husband and I usually travel to Traverse City once a year just to have dinner at Mode's. They have the best steaks, prime-rib, salad bar and Strawberry Daquiri made with ice-cream!!! They are a little pricey, but totally worth it! more
