Modern Movers gets 10 stars. Their website was super easy to use and I submitted for an online quote. Shannon in the office promptly called me back and was easy to work with. She was very knowledgeable on everything that would be needed for my move. Modern Movers provided the cheapest quote and let me know of any added costs there may be. The crew arrived promptly at 8:45am for a 9am start time. They were amazing.... they completed my move in only 3 1/2 hours when I was quoted at 4 1/2. Coming in under the quoted price is always a beautiful thing. They were very careful with all my things (everything was in perfect condition post move) and they were extremely patient with me.... I may or may not have asked them to move a few pieces of furniture around the condo a few times (what can I say... I'm indecisive and I tipped them accordingly!) :-) I literally have nothing but good things to say about Modern Movers and they will definitely be my first recommendation to anyone moving to fort myers, florida! more

I would just like to let everyone out there know that when I made my move with Modern Movers it was a rewarding experience. The sales representative, William Jensen and the Dispatcher, Sherri were absolutely wonderful. The pre-calls and the follow up calls show an interest in the actual customer. The crew was fantastic, they were clean, respectful and very careful with our goods as they loaded and unloaded the trucks. I cannot say enough about Modern Movers. If you are moving from within the State, Locally or even out of the State I would definitely recommend Modern Movers to do your moving. I just want to take a moment to thank you for the most painless move I have ever had! Michael, Glenn and crew were utterly fantastic and got furniture to our second floor that should have been impossible to do! But they did it and with out a scratch, dent or mishap. I used them on a last minute notice just before a holiday weekend and they were on time, neat, professional and speedy. None of my items were broke, everything made it to the destination in one piece. I don't know what that other lady's problem is on here, maybe the workers they had in 06 were lazy but my guys in 09 were super helpful, and fast! Will recommend and use again when necessary. more

My husband and I moved his grandmother from Lehigh Acres to Indiana. She hired Modern Movers to do the job. First of all, the movers were lazy, and did not care to make sure that everything was removed from the house. Second, the delivery guys were lazy, and after they had unloaded the truck, they insisted she give them a tip. Third, she did not receive all of her belongings, including a mattress and a cabinet. Three differenty times Modern Movers called to state that they would be bringing the missng items on other trucks, and three times failed to do so. DO NOT USE THESE CON ARTISTS!!! more
