I m a mature professional individual and I take writing a review seriously. I have only written three in my life. So when I say that these people are crooked I do not say it casually. I took my dektop PC to them. They said my video card was the cause and by the way my RAM memory was also bad. The owner installed a cheap video card and removed the bad memory. My original video card was top of the line. He told me the card he installed was better. I noticed lint and dust in some of the ports and asked him if it was a used card (charged $150 for new card) He said it was new . I was in a pinch so I paid the $150 plus the $85 diagnostic. After asking twice he finally returned my original card. After I had some time i reinstalled my card which is much better quality. The PC works fine. The only real problem was the RAM memory, which they just removed (I went down from 4G to 2G). These crooks lied about the problem to sell me a cheap used video card; which I found out was released in 2007! Stay away! more

My computer was not turning on and I had to send some very urgent E-mails. My cousin Recommended Modern Computer Systems in Artesia When I got to the store I was told that for doing a complete Hardware and software Examination by one of their tech. persons will cost $85.00 Dollars so I left it for the test thinking like my cousin told me that it was the main board that was burned or something like that, and in about one hour I received a call that my computer was ready for pickup. When I got there for the pickup they told me that they found the main power supply Conector loose and it only took about a moment to push it in and it Powered Up and worked good so because it was so simple the Owner said there was no Charge and to just take it and see ya next time you need us. Now that was nice, I will recommend Modern Computer Systems to all my friends and Family. Alejandro Rodrigues more

if i could give this place ZERO stars, i would. this place sucks. the owner is a cheap man who SERIOUSLY ripped me off. I took my computer in to get it diagnosed and fixed. he said the 85$ diagnostic fee is standard, but if we can fix it, we'll credit the $85 dollars toward the repair instead of charging BOTH. he tells me it's ok to pick up, come by tomorrow, we open on sunday at 11... HIS OFFICE WAS CLOSED. i made special trip to pick up my laptop, and NO ONE was in the office. on top of that, when i went back on monday, the manager wasn't there, and ended up charging me 250 for replacing a hard drive that's ONLY 100 GIGS... he's SERIOUS rip off. DO NOT come here. questions about the pricing and charges came up, and his employee called him and asked him about the charges that were made... EVERYTHING ON THE INVOICE IS WRONG... it said 2.5 harddrive repair on the invoice. after we went back and forth on the phone, he said... give it back, you pay us 85. and i'll reverse all the work. after 3 days of having my laptop, i think not. retard. on top of all that mess, i finally paid the 250$. OHH PEOPLE, GET THIS... they don't take credit cards... cash only... so i made another trip to the bank to get the cash. so i have made total 3 trips to pick up my laptop, and was unsuccessful the first 2. oh yeah, my computer has a weird clicky noise now. probably left a screw loose. SCREW THIS STORE... IT'S LIKE A HURRICANE BLEW THROUGH. it is so messy and unorganized. SERIOUSLY DISHONEST. i'm glad my computer turns on so i can at least write this very sucky place a horrid review. HEEEED MY WARNING, CERRITOS... DO NOT COME HERE... THE OWNER IS A BITCH, AND OVER CHARGES LIKE CRAZY.... HE IS VERY DISHONEST. Brought my Laptop here a shorttime ago with a broken power jack, it wouldnt charge. So, Mr.Jonas got me all fixed up within three days, all fixed, charging, running great. I run my internet business on this laptop, so it was a big save. I recently somehow corrupted my windows system, brought it here for a fix, and, within about 4 hours i had my laptop fixed, my data saved (which he helped me make a backup of my windows), and had it working to perfect speeds! thanks Modern Comp.! more

I was looking for a laptop And Not only did they sold me one at a good price but also My data was tranfered from my old broken unit and that was something that other stores said that could not be done.\r \r Thank You Guys more
