Enchanting Experience 12/14/2009

My experience with Mockingbird Bridal was so wonderful. I drove an hour to take advantage of their service and selection. I made an appointment (very important at a high-end boutique) and worked with Ashley. She was amazing. After I tried on several dresses, she brought out one that she thought I might love. She was right, it was my dress. She was patient with me and let me take time to show my family each dress. She even suggested I try on the dress I loved again once more before I made my decision. Mia did my alterations and she was also so wonderful. I only had to go to the store twice for fittings. Amber the manager even checked up on me to make sure my needs where being met. They made my wedding dress experience enchanting and I would recommend them to everyone. more

Perfect fit and perfect service! 12/12/2009

This is the best bridal salon in the entire DFW area. I have also looked at stores in Houston with my friend and nothing compare to the quality and prices you will find at Mockingbird Bridal. The alterations lady can make any dress look perfect on you and the management is very understanding and flexible. I got all my wedding attire here and I have recommended it to several friends who are all equally satisfied. Thank you for giving me the most beautiful dress for the most important day of my life.. more

amazing prices with excellent service 12/12/2009

The bridal salon was professional and knew how to find the perfect dress for me. The price of my dress was well below competitors and I could not be happier. The staff was respectful and patient with me. The owners, Amber and Ashley, were willing to go above and beyond to make my day special. I could not have found better service anywhere. I drove all the way from Fort Worth to get my dress here! They were amazing! more

Horrible experience with this store! 9/4/2009

I was the maid of honor in a friend's wedding, in which there were only TWO bridesmaids, and they managed to mess up our order. The two of us ordered different dresses and ended up with the same dress. When I called to talk to them about it, they shut me down and said I needed to have proof, which I didn't have, since they kept the original order forms and I never received a copy. The bride actually had to call up there and trick them into faxing her the original order forms (by saying she wanted the forms for her wedding binder, ha!), then when we went up there, the manager (Amber) was rude right off the bat, before we even told her what had happened. She then proceeded to blame me and say I hadn't done enough for the bride on "her day." After a lot of haggling and phone calls from the bride, the manager eventually agreed to pay HALF of the purchase price of the dress THEY SCREWED UP! Frustrating, to say the least. more

$2,000 FLUSHED 4/5/2009

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I wish I had read other reviews before I made my purchase. Gown is a disaster. M'Bird claims, "WE DON'T MAKE MISTAKES" and blames alteration problems on bride's low self-esteem; bride's choice to wear lower heels; bride having implants removed after fitting (sorry folks, mine are natural); bride adding length to hem. Unbelievable, hateful behavior. They knew I was a Military Service Member and lived out of town. Shameful. No thanks to Military personnel here! more

They have a large selection, a helpful staff and some of the best prices I found--especially if you order in bulk. I did not think they had a good selection of shoes, however, and I did not look at their wedding dresses at all---just the bridesmaid options. You definitely need to check their hours and make an appointment for someone to help you however--they get incredibly busy and you will need the help in order to figure out how everything works, get a dressing room, etc. more

Tons of dresses, but... 10/5/2005

This place has a LOT of dresses, and I'm pretty sure that most were under $1,000-$2,000. I wasn't crazy about the store though. It's too small for the inventory, and several of the sample dresses that I tried on looked rough/dirty. Tiny dressing rooms too, which is tough when you're trying on wedding dresses. BUT- I have a friend who bought her wedding dress here, and she had great luck with the store. more

Mockingbird Bridal 8/17/2005

Mockingbird Bridal Boutique is a wonderful shop for bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and flower girl dresses. They have such a large variety of dresses to choose from, many of which are top designers! They are so helpful when you are there trying on dresses, you have a personal assistant there to help you with the dress, to get it fitted, and to get color swatches for you to look through. Their prices are a little higher than average, but I think the service they provide you makes it worth paying slightly more for the dresses you purchase. Parking is limited, so you may have to park in an adjacent lot on the weekends. Contact them for an appointment. more

You will find your wedding dress here! 8/3/2005

This boutique is awesome. They have about all kind of wedding dress you can imagine. If you see it the magazine, it's at this store. The boutique is a little narrow, so will need to squeeze by to look at the wedding dress. They also sell bridesmaid dresses as well as flower girl dresses. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. If you go on the weekend, be prepare to wait for a fitting room. more
