Mitchell?s has been in business for over 100 years for very good reason. The atmosphere is friendly and the food is fresh and tasty (as evidenced by the large lunch crowds.) Portions of all menu items are generous, but the burgers and sandwiches are almost colossal! And prices are oh so reasonable. To go along with the superior food, the bartenders and service staff are some of the best in the City. AND, the entire second floor is set aside as a non-smoking section for those who so choose.
Pros: Large portions at good prices, and a friendly crowd!
Cons: Kitchen closes at 7:00 p.m. weekdays.
