Mitchell’s Fine Candies has the best homemade chocolates I have ever tasted and in my opinion, they’re ten times better that their pricey counterparts (Godiva, Ghirardelli.) Their service is amazing and if you want, you can place your order online at www.mitchellscandies.com which is handy. Whenever I’m in the mood for good chocolate, I head straight for Mitchell’s Fine Candies. more

Gourmet chocolates without the pretention 8/17/2005

Mitchell’s is an unassuming little shop in Cleveland Height’s Cedar-Lee district. Tucked into a little storefront on Lee Road, it’s easy to pass the small window with its shades drawn and the unassuming name etched into the glass. Wander inside to sample the goodies, and you’ll know why Mitchell’s has had a loyal following since 1939. There are long waits at holidays, so plan ahead. more
