Bad Experience 5/31/2007

I had a very bad experience at this little cafe. The food and bakery is good, but the service is very bad, especially from the manager (aka Louis). He talk to me if I was 12 years old and treat me as as I was a 2nd class citizen. I have not been treated this way ever in a restaurant! To sum up. the food is not bad, and the service is HORRIBLE! isto has been consistently delicious for years. Sure, they never change their menus or what's in their bakery EVER, but why mess with a good thing? They make some of the best cappuccino and tiramisu in town, have a wonderful brunch (try the cheese blintzes), and delicious Californian dinners (try the SW quesadilla). Pros: Californian cuisine at its best--food, prices, desserts Cons: very dry-n-stiff 90s atmosphere more

Enough canolis to feed an Art Dump. 10/30/2005

Incredible. If I was there, I eat 3 canolis in a sitting and take home some raviolis. Love Porous more
