I had a light in the kitchen replaced, they were great but it was too expensive. It's nice to have someone you can rely on, because I know they guarantee their work. I liked having someone who was an expert at what they did. more

I was very pleased with the whole experience and the person they sent out. I'm going to call again and make an appointment for them to do some more work, and I want the same technician. He was very informative, very polite, cleaned up, and explained everything to me that needed to be explained. When I didn't understand he took the time to explain even more. I was very happy with the technician that came out and their service. more

Most of their business has something to do with selling of additional things that may or may not have to be fixed at that time. There seems to be more of a sales pitch than a repairs pitch. more

Immediate Response. 8/3/2012

We had problems with one of the sockets in the house, it was not hot, and Mister Sparky traced it. He went through the whole house and had to go into the attic and replace a box up there. It was our first time using Mister Sparky, and everything is working now. We had no electricity for four days in that one room, and we called several other places. Mister Sparky was the only one who showed up. He was very, very nice. more

I'm happy with everything Mister Sparky did for us. It was wonderful. They showed up, did the work, and didn't do anything excessive. The 3 on value is only because I have nothing to compare them to, so everything feels like sticker shock right now. We had them come to fix the outlets in my bathroom next to the water. There wasn't any power in those before. more

I had a spa that I needed fixed. It had an electrical problem, and it was George I think that came out from Mister Sparky. I had researched the problem and narrowed it down to the circuit breaker. They came out and did the Jon, and everything came out fine. more

excellent 5/14/2012

Had one of mister sparky's techs out. Did a fantastic job. Fix my problem and found some hazards that we were not aware of in our panel. After showind me then answering my many questions we got the problem fixed. It's great they care enough and are very knowledgeable at there job . I would highly recommend there service more

Professional and trustworthy. 5/9/2012

I got Mister Sparky out of the Yellow Pages. They had a sizable ad so I figured if they were paying for that, they'd be pretty responsible. Plus I checked them out with the BBB. I had the technician in to do several jobs for me. The man was prompt and knowledgeable. I felt like he was very trustworthy, because I asked him questions and felt like I got honest answers. I would definitely use them again. more

Knowledgeable and Accommodating Service 4/9/2012

Comparable pricing I had called Mister Sparky because I had a funny burning smell from my fuse box. They came out promptly, later in the afternoon of the same Saturday that I had called them on. They found an animal had put two wires together so they were touching, creating a big problem. They also recognized a code violation in my fuse that was a fire hazard, so they fixed it which was great. Mister Sparky has a tri protection program along with a plumbing company and air conditioning company that I am going to join to save a lot of money. The technician was great and I will use them again. more

I worked with Mister Sparky in a service program. The owner's son came out and was on time. He was a very nice young man who was knowledgeable. he did a very thorough job checking up on things. I had a few questions and he followed up with those very well. more

The gentleman from Mister Sparky showed up earlier than expected. But he was very professional. He found the problem and fixed it immediately. There were no price surprises. It was all shown to me how much it was going to cost beforehand. They did a good job and he cleaned up at the end. Everything worked perfectly afterwards. more

My whole concern with Mister Sparky is the pricing. The technician was excellent! I couldn't ask for better and he explained everything. They charged for different little jobs and it was very confusing. We had an excellent technician with excellent explanation. Just the pricing was a little confusing. more

will never do business with them 9/12/2011

Mr. Sparky came to our house so we could get an estimate and we were apalled at the outrageous prices. Mind you we were given two price options so that one would look more attractive than the other??? Both were over $2000. After we declined and paid our $59 service charge, we went to Home Depot and fixed the issue ourselves for less than $20. That is no joke. Now why on earth would Mr. Sparky want to take advantage of hard working people in this difficult economy? I hate to think of all the people who agree to let you do work for them and who pay the ridiculous cost when the work is probably unnecessary. Shame on all of you. more

Courteous, professional, and informative! 8/18/2011

I found out about Mister Sparky through the telephone book. They were the only one that was willing to come out to look at my house, and I had been waiting for six days with no callbacks. They put in a GFI plug, installed a light switch, created new wires for a switch, converted my 110 into a 220, and installed a plug for a cabinet relocation. They also installed a surge protector for my 220. I had work done by Mister Sparky fairly recently and this was the second time I used them. I had wiring problems with my kitchen lights, and I knew I needed other work done when I relocated things for my new cabinets. The people at Mister Sparky do good work. They're efficient and they kept me informed on what they were doing. more

It was a very good experience. 8/10/2011

I had a very good experience with Mister Sparky. I called them at the last second, when I was having a wall removed in my home and ran into an electrical situation that was beyond my expertise. I usually do minor electrical work myself, and I figured that moving a switch wouldn't be a big deal. Well, whomever wired this house initially did a poor job--there was no rhyme or reason to it. It was frustrating. Mister Sparky just happened to have a cancelled appointment when I called, and were able to come out right away. The tech assessed the situation, and predicted it would take him about an hour to complete the job. I approved his quote, and he got to work. He had everything figured out and worked through before that hour was up. He corrected all the shortcuts and brought everything up to code. This was my first time using Mister Sparky, and I will definitely call them again if I need any more help with the labyrinth of wires in this house. The tech had no problem working out the mess, which for me would have been a major operation. Plus, it was a lot cheaper than I thought it would be. I'm a happy customer. more

Excellent. They did a great job! 8/9/2011

Mister Sparky was wonderful, and the technician they sent was excellent. The oven wasn't heating up properly, and he found the problem right away. It was the connector to the element that was going into the over that was burnt out. He found that it was not any good, so he just replaced it, and replacing that itty bitty thing was $200, which seemed kind of high, to be honest. Mister Sparky was great. 12/17/2010

Mister Sparky was great. He did a lot of technical stuff for me. My lights were out, and he fixed that; he put in a new switch for my freezer. He also installed a plug in the garage and fixed the Christmas lights; they were shorting. He did all kinds of stuff. It was my first time using Mister Sparking, and I chose him because I liked his ad in the yellow pages. He was really polite, nice, and helpful. I like him a lot and would call him again. He is young, which is nice because that means if he stays in the business he will be around as long as I need him. M. Thompson more
