Weak at best 1/13/2006

Biggest campus in Springfield isn't saying much. The acreage of the campus is on the small side compared to major public schools nationwide. It's also on the small side for quality education and social life. The bars in springfield are filled with white trash and provide fun for only that type of person. Most students that I know that go here are very unhappy and most have transferred. If you EVER want to work outside of the Springfield area avoid this college at all costs. In fact, a degree from here probably wont even get you a job PROS: Girls are pseudo-hot and slutty CONS: Education is weak, athletic program is a farce more

Fun university that just changed its name 9/4/2005

Now known as Missouri State University, this is the largest campus in Springfield. It's a fairly large university with both undergraduate and graduate opportunities. It's a big party school too, and Greek Row is always hopping with parties and gatherings both during the school year and during the summer. There are many activities to get involved in here, including sports, clubs and student government. The campus is very centrally located so it's great for commuters who do not want to live on campus. Fun place to go to college and get an education. more

It is located in Springfield, Mo., and has an enrollment of more than 16,000 students in undergraduates, graduate and continuing education programs. It offers a wide range of academic programs, such as accounting, administrative studies, agricultural business, anthropology, art and design, audiology, cell and molecular biology, and communications. The university s library has a large collection of notes, articles, journals, and current, international and domestic newspapers. It additionally organizes sports activities, such as basketball, softball, baseball, soccer, tennis, football, and golf. The university provides various other services, such as housing facility, transportation, financial assistance, health care, counseling, international assistance, and disabilities services.
