This is a fun place to go if you are into sports and have lived in Missouri your whole life, as many of the displays you will recognize and remember. This hall of fame pays tribute to Missouri teams from all types of sports, including baseball, hockey, football, and basketball. It includes pro teams as well as college and some other levels of sports. A nice place to go if you have a couple of hours to look around. I recommend it. more

Great place for local baseball history 9/15/2005

This is a great place if you are a big baseball fan and want to learn about local baseball history. They of course, center on local teams like the Saint Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Royals, along with the Missouri college teams like the Mizzou Tigers teams. However, it's a neat place to visit with the out-of-town sports fans, and even if you are a Springfield native, it's a nice place to visit so you know what's there if someone asks you about it. more
