All reviews seem positive

not that fab of a school. 10/21/2005

While everyone is saying "MSJHS is such a great school!", not everyone agrees, especially the students! The school may have a high scores for SATS but that is most of the students work. This school has a very competitive state of mind, people care about their grades a lot. The teachers often push the students to excel but a lot of the teachers do a bad job teaching. However, over all it's a pretty good school. Not good in terms of sports, but in education--definetely considerable. more

Where smartness meets Fremont 8/22/2005

Mission San Jose High School is a good school, especially compared to some of the other schools in Fremont. The academics here are fabulous. A lot of the students that go here are smart and eager to learn. The campus is nice. They have great clubs and activities, in my opinion anyways. more

Mission San Jose High 8/15/2005

Mission San Jose High is one of the most competitive high school in California. Despite the students that are academic competitive, they also score the highest grades for the standard tests and it is well known among the colleges and universities in the state of California. Students do a lot of extracurricular activities besides participating in school work. Majority of the students in Mission attends college and be successful. more

Mission San Jose is one of six high schools in Fremont. The students here are very academically competitive. Despite its poor facilities and overcrowded classrooms, the school scores the highest on standardized tests. Students are encouraged to join a wide range of extracurricular activities and advance placement classes are available. Most MSJ students attend college. more

Quality School 8/11/2005

As a graduate of Mission San Jose High school, my four years there were characterized by both the annoyance of overcrowding and lack of facilities as well as the challenge of being surrounded by talented and hard-working students in the honors classes. Although Mission was continually underfunded, this was counteracted by a competitive class of motivated students that helped it earn the Blue Ribbon award. This place is what you make of it, and many of its graduates go on to respected colleges, even if they have to be squashed into the classroom to do it. more

Wonderful school! 8/11/2005

Mission San Jose is definitely one of the better schools in California. The students consistently acheive very high school wide standardized test scores. However, this school has a majority of Asians, particularly Chinese, so there is not much diversity there when it comes to race. This school is a must for your children. more
