Mission College

I signed up for an accounting course here when I was pondering a future as a CPA and felt that I needed some brushing up in my skills in that subject area. The class was medium sized, but as the weeks went on it dwindled down to a smaller and smaller number of students. As for the ones that bothered showing up, many seemed to be sleeping through the class. I got a good grade, but even the teacher seemed to be bored. more

Mission College, located next to a gigantic movie theater and mini-mall complex, offers lots of great night school classes. Furthermore, it has plenty of parking so it's a great commuter school if you work during the day. The selection of classes is great for a community college. If you want to take classes on foreign language, photography, computer programming, or even creative writing, you can do so at Mission College. The instructors are great. Given that the silicon valley is one of the most educated places in the country, you'll find PhDs or Master Degree graduates teaching the courses here. Signup is easy--they have a web based internet registration system where you can choose your courses online. Getting enrolled couldn't be more simpler. more
