Our Photographer for Life! 6/21/2011

We love Missie and have booked 3 annual sessions with her, regardless of which state we are living in at the time. She is warm and outgoing and puts everyone at ease before, during and after the photo shoot. Sessions with Missie are fun and relaxed. She is talented, capable and has a flair for the non-traditional. We love her creative spirit and how she captures the essence of each member of our family through her lens. We come away with so many great shots from each session, that we end up creating photo books every time. They are treasured family keepsakes that are viewed and shared quite often. Missie also has great customer service and tailors the photos to your requests and needs. She is phenomenal and a pleasure to work with all the way around! more

So good we made her an adopted Family Member! 6/18/2011

Missie is AWESOME! We have had four sessions booked with Missie over the last two years and have been amazed at the quality of her work, her level of creativity, and her patient spirit. I have a hubby that doesn't like to take pics and two teen boys who have their dad's attitude. Missie kept them laughing and truly took an interest in what they wanted their pics to look like. My son's senior pics stand in a class on their own. Taken in the desert at sunset with Will in a tux sitting on a throne like chair.....very James Bond. We used them as graduation announcements. Our last session with Missie, she captured my husband's change of command and created a book of the day for us. We will treasure it always as she captured the shots that were truly important to us. Looking forward to our next session with Missie when she travels to DC. You won't find a better photographer! more

Super fun to work with! 6/8/2011

We absolutely loved working with Missie. She was our wedding photographer, and she took the time to interview us as a couple, to get to know us, and find out what kind of pictures would best capture our relationship. She was very flexible, and listened to my ideas, but then when my creativity ended, hers really jumped in! She got so many interesting and fun shots, and even helped orchestrate some of the most precious parts of my wedding day (like when hubby and I saw each other for the first time that day!) I am truly blessed that Missie was able to so beautifully capture my wedding day forever. more

Amazing Artist with a Heart of Gold 6/7/2011

Missie took extra care to ease my daughter into a photo shoot making the whole process very enjoyable. Pictures were ready to view within days and the tough part was choosing the prints. There were so many great pictures! Since the prices were so reasonable, I got all my favorites! Missie shared her love of art with my children in semi-private art lessons. They worked with various materials and themes. Art has allowed my children to explore and express themselves and continues to be an engaging pass-time though it has been years since their lessons. Finally, Missie has created a reputation for outstanding custom artwork. I love her collages and photo collection keepsakes. She shares her fresh perspective and positive attitude through her work. I am truly grateful for all of my opportunities to interact with Missie and experience her art. I miss her smile and her work tremendously. I have every confidence in her work and especially value what a kind person she is! more

Fabulous AND Fantastic!! 6/6/2011

What a fabulous experience my family had with Missie taking our pictures before my husband deployed! She met with me beforehand to talk about the types of pictures I was looking for, the combinations of clothes that would work best for our family of six, and the personalities of and helpful hints about all six of us. (This came in VERY handy when she was taking individual shots of my fourteen-year-old who didn?t necessarily want to be there!!) Missie has an amazing eye for creative shots as is evident with our ?Groucho? pictures taken in front of the cool white and aqua-striped wall in downtown Fayetteville. She even met me downtown to hand deliver the finished products! Our pictures were exactly what we were looking for?casual, fun, and loving, just like we are!! This was a fantastic first time with Missie, and we will look forward to having more pictures taken by her when my husband gets back!! more

  • Creating sessions that are fun, relaxed, & unique to you are my specialty. I truly enjoy getting to know the families, couples, & individuals that I work with; your memories are priceless and I am honored to be trusted with them.

    I focus on natural light sessions that are relaxed in nature and centered around capturing the personality & spirit of your family and/or event. My goal is to tell your story in a beautiful, fresh, & artistic way.

    Formal poses & matching outfits certainly have their place but I wish to create images just for you, images that truly reflect your uniqueness. (afterall, it's the laughter and hugs that make a family...not sitting up perfectly still with your head slightly tilted in matching holiday sweaters!)

    While planning your session we will discuss that common link between all your images: location, theme, and attire.
