Good: They have a very good parade for the young kids, with a very cool fly by that starts off the parade. Minus the adults that have to sit up their chairs right in front and then get mad when a 4 yr old walks in front of them to get some candy. I have been going to Lake City for the 4th for 10 yrs. They used to have a great firework display that was right at the county park. Great karaoke contest, fair and fun events for children and live music in town every night. The best part for me the BEACH VBALL TOURNEY!. Bad: About 3 yrs ago there was a mishap and an ambulance had to be called and couldn't get through with the big crowd, so now their firework display is out on the lake and it is horrible.. Improvements: The county park needs to start doing the fireworks again. They are making the whole community lose business..
