I had one seam that wasn't quite right, I didn't notice until I wore it many months later. I took it in and she fixed it right away with no issues. The best in town without a doubt! more

The absolute worst customer service experience in my life! 1/23/2011

Miss Ann's had plenty of my business. I used to take lots of items to her, despite having to wait weeks to get things back. But, I put up with it because I didn't want to take the time to find something else. However, my last experience there was too awful to justify returning. I took a pair of pants and a dress in and was told it would be 2 weeks before they would be ready; this seemed a bit long for just 2 things, but I was used to them taking their time. I was given a specific date and told to come after 4 p.m. Knowing that they usually aren't ready by the date provided, I gave them an extra week to get my 2 garments finished. When I went to pick them up, they hadn't even started on them! I had waited 3 weeks for 2 items that hadn't even been touched! They told me to come back the following day and they promised to have it done. When I returned the next day, they wanted to charge me full price! When I asked for some kind of discount for the inconvenience of waiting an extra week and having to drive over there twice, they said absolutely not. I couldn't believe it! I couldn't even get an apology that my items weren't ready 8 days after they said they would be. They proceeded to tell me it was my fault for not calling ahead of time to make sure they were done! I again reminded them they had a full 21 days to do 2 simple hems and an entire 7 day extension after the pick-up date given to me at the time of drop-off. MISS ANN SAID THAT ALL OF HER CLIENTS KNOW THAT IT TAKES THEM A LONG TIME TO GET THINGS DONE AND NOT TO GO OFF OF THE PICK-UP DATE AS ASSURANCE THE ORDER WILL BE READY!!! IT WAS MY FAULT FOR NOT CALLING! NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY! I paid the amount in full and told them I couldn't believe a local place of business would treat their customers that way. They said I didn't have to use them if I didn't want to….so, I won't. I hope that if anyone out there is considering going to her, they'll rethink their decision. I've heard really good things about Wendy's downtown…try there! more
