SURPRISED at BAD ratings 5/31/2011

I have to say that I am very surprised to read the negative reviews. I am a professional myself and have seen her for years and years. If you understand psychiatry as a field, you know that Dr. Mirza is ultimately there to supplement your therapy/counseling. Most psychiatrists do not provide traditional counseling/psychotherapy these days. She is extremely knowledgeable and a good practitioner. She DOES spend time with me if I am having an off day. She has talked to me for 45 minutes before. I think disgruntled patients who expected more attention than they received ultimately reviewed her. She is, at least in my experiences, an excellent physician. more

Not going back 6/17/2009

Not bad if you like 5 minute visits and just med reviews. Receptionist took our insurance info prior to our visit, ensured us we were covered. Came to find out we were not and she said it was our fault (even though she made the call and handled the verification prior to first vist) and told us we had to pay full price cash for 6 visits. Don't think so. Don't think the doc even knows what is going on in front end of building. In my opinion, you should look elsewhere. Less than one star but needed to rate to post Cons: 5 minutevisits, looks at chart, send you on way with any med more

She told me it was my fault I was depressed! What doc says that!! And her secretary is inexperienced I agree. I would give her no stars, but this program makes u put at least 1. more

This doctor only cares about getting paid. She does not care about her patients well-being. Inexperienced secretary. more
