We decided that our home needed new furniture and after shopping other stores that the Ethan Allen store in East Brunswick had the furniture designs that we liked best. After purchasing thousands of dollars worth of furniture and getting some deliveries we found out that we bought from the wrong store. This is not an independently owned store anymore, it's a corporate store that has very bad customer service. They love the sale - but fall down with deliveries (had over 5 deliveries that we stayed home for) and quality (many pcs. of the furniture were damaged on delivery & have had the service man out to our home several times and furniture is still not in good condition). Speaking with the designer and store manager have not resolved the issues. Now we have been speaking with someone at corporate who still can not resolve the damage issues with several pieces of furniture. Is this the way a retailer should treat customers?
