My color is perfect and my hair is so healthy & manageable, thumbs up to the super shine process that he recomended. I don't have to do anything to my hair and it looks wonderful. In the process of looking for a stylist I stumbled upon these reviews. So I decided to take a leap of faith and try this place out. I must say that everyone was right. One of the best haircut and color jobs I've gotten in a long time! Demi was my stylist. He was fun and full of energy. He did listen to my concerns and was really easy going. I was interested in getting hair extensions done, and a friend suggested that I see David at Jason David Hair Studio. So I booked an appointment with him... and I was not disappointed. David does AMAZING work... I can't stop staring at myself in the mirror!!! He also gave me a really great haircut and colour. I highly recommend him. He's the real deal. My entire experience at the salon was top notch from John at the front desk to my final blow dry and style. I highly recommend this salon to anyone. more

I requested someone that knew color and could flat iron hair straight without frizz. The woman directed me to Demi. I have to say I have to breakup with my hairdresser in Costa Mesa now for Demi! The auburn red with a (as he would say) a sprinkle of highlights was simply gorgeous! When he straighten my hair it was a technique I've never seen before. Popped in to see if I could get a haircut at the last min. and I asked for someone that could really texture my hair since most stylist under texture it because it's so thick. I told Demi how I style imy hair and stuff , he told me it was a "piece of cake" the moment he started cutting I knew it was going to be a great cut. He got these special shears and was cutting into my hair like Edward Scissorhands....funny the moment he comb it out.... all this hair came out.... and he said you are now textured. Run, don't walk to this salon. I saw this beautiful hair cut on a woman in Sullivan's Steakhouse I asked her was her stylist local. She told me about Demi at Jason David Hair Studio. The best advice I've gotten thus far on a hairdresser since I've moved here from NYC. I've had allot of hit and misses since I've been here. Demi had the style and skills I've been looking for. I arrived early to get a quick peek. I watched him straighten a woman's hair from super curly to a bone straight....like Asian hair. I was amazing. So at that point I was totally sold. I just moved to the states and had no clue what salon to go to. Going with the reviews I read online I chose this salon. What made my visit so special is I found my new stylist. I was surprise it was a wonderful experience. My stylist was Demi and I must agree, he knows his stuff. Along with making me comfortable he made me laugh. He took his time and updated my look to a more modern cut and colour. Peek a boo highlights are now my new trademark. Simple and beautiful. A++++ Pros: Demi, Demi, Demi!!!!! Great Stylist!!! I had a hair color service done on a salon on El Paseo.... with results that were quite undesired. My friend told me about Jason David Hair Studio and told me to ask for DEMI. Thank God for the advice. He listened to my story and advised me in how we could approach the situation. On top of that I got a wonderful haircut. I'm 45 year old that didn't want to look like a MOM....he gave me a Trendy yet sophisticated haircut. This is THE place to get your haircut or get your hair done! Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and HAL is super! If he could make my mother happy....believe me...it's worth the trip! I have thin, baby fine hair, anytime it is cut and I can work with it myself with a minimal of trouble and time, I have had a great cut, which is what I got from Mark. The shop was clean, the staff was friendly. I left there feeling like a million dollars. I highly recommend the Jason David Salon. more

I have never had a haircut where the stylist sits in a chair the whole time and cuts my hair. The cut was horrible. My stylist didn't seem to know what she was doing. For being one of the largest Gay resorts in Palm Springs one would think it would be due to the customer service and accommadations. Wrong. For the most part this is an over rated, and severely over priced, bath house. "Party and Play" is the only theme as you can stumble onto almost anything to take or drink to lift up your mood. The layout of the land is overshadowed by some of the sirly staff. Be aware that fun can be had but you must "PAY, IN FULL, IN ADVANCE AT CHECK-IN," (very bath house), and there are hefty deposits on keys, etc. At almost $200.00 per night per room and 3-5 night minimums, many people prefer to stay elsewhere and come in for FREE during day hours. Local traffic, those who live in Palm Springs, flow through the place like water over their highly toughted waterfalls. Be aware that there is NO RESERVED GUEST parking. Parking is difficult at the least because the locals park in what should be guest parking areas. Pros: pretty grounds Cons: staff attitude, no parking OVER-PRICED more
