Miracle Hill Thrift Store - Wade Hampton

\r \r I like to shop at thrift stores but find that Miracle Hill's prices are higher than the department stores on many items. Why would I spend more for used things when I can get new? Brand name items are priced high as well as anything antique. I realize they are trying to make money to fund the things they do but many people of low income can't even afford to shop here let alone at the mall! more

I ""started over"" several months ago & did a lot of my home decorating shopping here. I was able to furnish my new apt and re-supply the majority of my kitchen at a minimal cost. I'm also a big fan of reading & will check out their bookshelves on a regular basis. I've found copies of books I wanted often.\r I've been collecting glass/ceramic items & they usually have lots at a great price.\r I've even bought two tv's that are perfectly fine.\r I have NO complaints about the service there, either. My daughter was looking for a double stroller & the manager there was very helpful & my daughter got a very nice one for an extremely reasonable price.\r I can't recommend this store highly enough! Pros: Lots of new items almost every day Cons: Really can't think of any! more
