Mira Salon And Boutique Spa

I have moved several times in the past five years and one thing I hate is having to find a new stylist. I get bored with my hair quickly and really like when somone can do something new without making my get ready time longer. I found that at Mira. The cut and the color look great and I have to say that I cannot believe how easy it is to maintain. I will be back for more change when I am ready. more

I loved my time at Mira Salon & Spa. My husband bought me a gift card to Mira's for my birthday this year and I must say I had the time of my life! I got a great massage from a very talented man. After my message I went to the salon and got a great haircut from a woman named Ashley. The nice part about it was that they also served fresh coffee, so while I waited for my cut I was able to sip on a nice cuppa. The staff was all very friendly and professional so I hope I can go back again sometime. more

Maybe I just had a bad experience because all my friends recommended this place to me. I'm a student and I had been going home to get my hair done but couldn't wait anymore. Alli was the girl who did my hair. She looked like a lesbian who has had a hard knock life, maybe she was high when she did my hair. She turned my brown hair brassy what was supposed to be caramel highlights and I had to pay twice as much else where to get it fixed. She was rude when I told her it didn't look good. I am not one to complain so I just had to pay and leave and get it fixed by my home hair guy. I think shes just upset that she has to see good looking girls everyday and she is so ugly. I went to Hannah at Mira for over two years and always had great highlights. She weaves beautiful and subtle colors together. When I was a student, I asked for bolder colors. Now that I have a professional job, I have to have a more conservative look. The color always looks classy. She left town but now she is back, which is awesome because I was lost without her. I got a bad cut from another stylist and she fixed it. She gives me a really professional look that has an edge. She really understands how women wear their hair. My husband goes to her too and he loves the way she cuts his hair. Mira can be expensive but Hannah is well worth it. Pros: Nice salon, great staff Cons: Often booked up more

I recently moved to Bloomington to attend graduate school. I was excited to begin my new scholarly career, but I was distressed to leave my stylist behind! I grew up in Chicago and had been going to the same salon for years. A friend of mine heard my dilemma and recommended Jackie at Mira salon. I was nervous at first, but she proved to be every bit as good as my old stylist at Vidal Sassoon -- in fact, I think she is better!...like any good stylist, she is hard to get a appointment with, but well worth the wait.
