I cannot stop raving about Michael and my dress!! I told him the idea of my dream dress that I had been looking for. He handpicked not only the dress I created in my mind, but also the most perfect dress for me! It's hard to please both my mother and maid of honor because of our very different choices in style, but once I put this dress on no one could say no. It was the one and only dress he picked for me after days of looking at other popular places. To my surprise the price was under budget too! I figured from such a nice dress store the prices would be ridiculous. I cannot thank Michael enough for finding my perfect wedding dress and making dress shopping so much fun!! I highly recommend Miosa!!! more

I absolutely loved this place! They were beyond helpful, did all the work for me, and were super supportive in everything. The girls there were really friendly too. The place itself was beautiful, the room very clean. They had a great variety of dresses, probably my favorite so far. I was totally satisfied with my experience here. more

I made my appt online and someone called to confirm shortly. Everyone was professional and courteous. What sold me on getting my dress at Miosa was my consultant - Susan Nelson. She was kind, attentive, listened and respected my budget limits and gave constructive feedback. When I had questions about delivery and timing, she was detailed and honest. When you are in a rush like I am (October wedding), honesty is much appreciated and the reason I chose Miosa over the others. Thanks again! more

The staff at Miosa Couture were AMAZING! My fiancé and I got engaged on a friday on the east coast. I flew in on Sunday and drove 2 hours to visit this shop on Tuesday over my christmas break. Annie helped me and she was FANTASTIC!!!! After we were pretty sure I had found ""the one"" she did everything possible to help me feel confident about my choice by trying to beat the dress I picked. When it couldn't be beat, I was still a little bit nervous about making the big decision so I had them take down all my information and I told Annie I would call after I slept on it to make sure I was still in love with the dress the next day. I loved the dress and made the final order on Friday. Because my dress was (a certain brand name) it was under the priority program and was in stock. The dress was shipped the next monday (week of christmas) and then arrived at Miosa on FRIDAY! I drove to the shop monday morning and tried on my dress and it fit PERFECTLY! Annie helped me and so did Kristen - they were both fantastic and helped me out so much! I did not need any alterations but I did want to restructure one of the features on the dress and add cups. The seamstress came up and pinned it and then told me because I was living on the east coast and was in town just for the day she could finish it in a few HOURS!!!! My family and I left and explored downtown Sacramento and in about 3 hours Kristen called us and the dress was ready for my second (and FINAL fitting). I tried it on again and it was perfect! Since I live on the east coast (and am getting married on the east coast), the shop is going to ship me the dress when it is closer to my wedding! I also custom designed my vail to be the exact length and style that I wanted. I was soooo pleased with the service of all the staff at Miosa Couture! I HIGHLY recommend every bride to this boutique. I even recommend all my friends on the east coast and tell them all about this shop just incase they find themselves in California before they buy their dress. more

I originally went to Miosa for a trunk show showcasing Jim Hjelm's wedding gowns. I was thrown off because I was certain that I would fall in love with one of his dresses, but I ended up falling in love with a dress that was completely different than what I had expected. My consultant, Brooke, was fantastic! She was not pushy and did not make me feel rushed at all. I ended up not purchasing the gown on my first visit because I just had to sleep on it. Brooke did not mind at all! I returned the next week and said yes to the dress. Everyone there seems to know what dress you would look best in and, if you have an open mind and are willing to try on styles that were different than what you first imagined, you'll most likely find the dress of your dreams. The consultants here do not work on commission. At your request, they can help you into the dresses in the fitting room or they can give you the final zip/clamp up once you've gotten yourself into the dress. FYI, they can make custom dresses/accessories for you as well. The owners are definitely talented. Hands down, this is the best experience that I have ever had trying on dresses. I had a lovely experience working with Miosa when it came to finding the perfect dress for me. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted, but knew I had a few ideas in my head of what I would like. Melinda, the lady who helped me did a wonderful job. She was very helpful and knew her dresses well. She stayed in my price range and was still able to offer me beautiful gowns. It went so well that I ended up finding and purchasing my dress the very first day that I went dress shopping! And I loved that she knew exactly what would look good and complimented me as well. Returning for my first fitting I was helped by Jackie and Kristin who were very nice and friendly. They all did a perfect job and I was happy to have the same consistent service as I had before! My daughter and I had a 5 o'clock appointment and as we entered the store we were greeted by Kristin and Annie. We were promptly seated and Kristin asked my daughter what style she was looking for. Kristin began getting dresses to try on and she nailed the dress selection. I can't say enough how happy I was with our visit. Miosa Couture has a large selection with a variety of dress styles as well reasonably priced wedding dresses. Very friendly and helpful staff to work with. Pretty sure my daughter will be saying Yes to the Dress from Miosa Couture!\r more

""Soon after I got engaged I started the hunt for the """"perfect"""" dress. I tried on everything from lace to tulle, strapless to halter and most everything between. I used to work near Miosa and recalled seeing a dress I loved in the window. I made a phone call to the owner and set up an appointment. I flew from Southern California Mother's Day Weekend 2011 with my fingers crossed that my hunt would be over. When I showed up at the salon with my herd of guests (mom, two sisters, best friend, her mom and my godmother) they were more than welcoming. I briefly described the gown I had seen years back and in 30 mins they had it out for me, they had to go down to the storage area to get it! It was everything I remembered and more. I put it on and my mom cried. I knew that was my dress. Being that I live 400 miles away, we have been communicating via email and phone and I have had the best experience. At my first re-measure I made some adjustments to the gown and added some custom beading. I cannot wait to wear this dress on my wedding day. We came quite a long way for a dress! We moved from Sacramento years ago, but we always knew where we would get the dress after spotting a gown in the window of the salon. It was amazing as was the one next to it. We knew then that was the home of our daughter's future gown.\r more

Sue (who we worked with), was not turned off by my under dressed appearance, or lower end stated budget, and having no idea what we wanted - gave her a blank sheet to work with. She went right to work, pulling a number of options out and was very patient and helpful as we worked through figuring out what we liked and disliked. No pressure. We felt we got some great advice and ideas. In fact, we had plans to visit 2 to 3 stores before making a decision, but didn't bother, we liked the dresses and service so much at Miosa, no need or desire to look further. I also wish to add that each time we went in for a fitting, we were treated as if we were the only ones in the store and were never rushed in spite of how busy the store was. In fact, one evening, two of the women helping us stayed over an hour past closing - the whole time engaged in providing a service.\r more

I recommend Miosa time and time again to all of my clients. Mike is amazing! He was able to transform a dress for my sisters' wedding back in June of 2012 and till this day, that dress is amazing and well put together. The girls were very helpful. This was the third bridal store we visited on my quest to find my wedding dress. I had always driven past Miosa with a longing gaze at the gorgeous gowns in the window since I was a little girl. Michael (the owner) was wonderful to work with. I did end up finding my dream gown there, that I am still so in love with! They have a good selection of gowns in different price points. We also purchased my mothers dress and my bridesmaids dresses here as well. The owner Mike was very friendly, helpful and accomodating. I also purcahsed my veil, earrings and a diamond belt here. They sewed the belt into my dress, so it looked like it was there from the start. All of there other alterations were great as well, maybe a little pricey, but worth it to me. This is a once in a lifetime thing and you want it to be perfect!\r more
