Overall location and sites were very tight, crowded and narrow. The campground is fenced in and very small for a camp ground. The price was too much for what you get. No walking/hiking trails near by, you are surrounded by a small neighborhood separated by a fence. You feel like you are in someone's back yard. If you are not along the fence line then you are located toward the entrance and will enjoy all the traffic coming in and out the grounds along with the road noise.
Management was rude when checking in and sarcastic to those who arrive just before 11:00 pm check in, due to ""quiet time"" at eleven.
The Oscoda county campground, less than 3 miles away, is a nicer location located on the Mio Pond/river. The sites are wider and spaced out more with walking trails along the water. Rates are $6.00 less per night.
Pros: cabins seem nice
Cons: Rude management, small sites, fenced in campground
