I’m an avid Double Eagle and Morgan Dollar collector with several Registry Sets. I’ve bought many coins over the years. Lots of dealers offer coins at ‘low’ prices but in my experience you get what you pay for. Although Mint State Gold may be slightly higher priced, their coins are exceptional and don’t have the copper spots, blemishes, planchet errors, etc. that the ‘low price’ gem graded coins do. I always check with them FIRST now before ever looking elsewhere. Even when they don’t have something in stock I’m looking for, they can usually find it for me. Great service, fast shipping, and superb coins. more

BEST DEAL ON FRENCH ROOSTERS! 5/9/2012

I called around gold dealers in the valley after speaking to one of those companies that advertised. After talk to there rep I wanted to buy some french roosters. Then to make sure I was paying the best price I decided to call around. After checking 5 other companies in the area I found Stuppler and Company. They offered me these coins at the LOWEST PRICE AND THE COINS LOOKED BEAUTIFUL! When I asked how do I know if these are real and why are they so cheap they explained to me how many companies who have large call centers need to pay huge commissions and advertising fees. They are a wholesaler who doesn't have all that and can sell it to the public at wholesale prices like the COSTCO OF GOLD COINS! Plus to prove to me that they were a real dealer I checked out all there references INCLUDING THE US MINT, CANADIAN MINT, AND CALIFORNIA COIN MERCHANT ASSOCIATION! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY more

Wouldn't go anywhere else! 2/7/2012

While cleaning out the garage, we found some old coins and I wanted to see how much they were worth. After researching places in the Valley, I found Mint State Gold. They were helpful, knowledgable, and gave me a fair price. I actually used the coins I had which were silver and purchased some Gold Eagles from them. I was very happy with my experience and will recommend them to anyone interested in buying and selling coins. more

PAYS THE HIGHEST PRICE FOR GOLD! 1/31/2012

My father passed away and left me 11 gold 1oz coins (Kruggerands I believe is what they were). I went to some stores in the area and they offered me around $1400-1500 which made no sense to me since gold is trading around $1700 at the time. I walked in the store and they paid me for an ounce of gold and didn't charge any stupid processing fees. Just make sure you call ahead. Since they are a office and not a retail store THEY ONLY WORK BY APPOINTMENT! more
