Minsky the tailor, located at the Westgate shopping center in Ann Arbor, offers good tailoring services, such as hemming, zippers, and alterations. The only drawback is that due to heavy volume of customers, you may need to wait for your order to be done. For extra, they will do same day service. Keep an eye out for coupons, as you can often get $1 to $10 off regular prices. more

Cheap - good for students 8/17/2005

I bought a pair of pants that were on sale because they were very long and brought them here to have them altered before going to my English Department Banquet. They were very courteous, and they seemed to know what I needed even before the words came out of my mouth. I would most definitely go back. A good place for students. more

I used them to alter a brisemaid's gown a couple summers ago. I will admit, I gave them quite the challenge b/c the top of the gown was unique and hard to alter, and I needed it done within a couple weeks. They met the challenge and performed a miracle with this bridesmaids dress - the fit was wonderful. The color - not so much - but that wasn't their fault :) more

I use this tailor quite often for hems and such. They always have $1.00 off coupons in the paper and the turnaround time isn't bad, a week at the most. Easy Parking and affordable prices. more
