This is a beautiful botanical garden on over 1,000 acres. They have 32 display gardens. You can look at the flowers yourself or get a guided tour. They also have a conservatory, gift shop, restaurant, hiking, and cross-country ski trails. It is open all year. The flowers and plants are very beautiful. Admission is only $7.00. more

A Great Place for a Family Outing 7/6/2005

It's not just for flowers lovers. What a fantastic place for a family outing. In addition to the beautiful flowers they've got paved trails that are very stroller friendly. There's lots of room for picnics and this summer they've got a fun bird exhibit, tailored for kids. A family membership is quite reasonable, but if you'd like to save some money admission is free to all every Thursday after 4:30 pm. more
