A pleasant surprise. 8/25/2002

For some reason, I never got around to visiting Minneapolis Town Hall Brewery until a month ago when we visited for a friend's birthday. While my companions enjoyed the amber lager, I had the real treat - their oatmeal stout. The stout was perfect - dark and flavorful and yet not too sweet. Very good, perhaps the best in town. Pros: Wonderful stout., Nice patio., Friendly service. more
