Went in for an interventional radiolgy procedure on 2/1/10 I was supposed to have a 12 hour stay, here is what happened. I woke up screaming I can not move my right leg, they promised they would get a nurse into my postop room right away, ha! I lied there for close to an hour crying in pain, no nurse and no nurse button to press because I could not move due to the cement drying time, I was also shivering and very cold. The dr wrote patient woke up and was transferred in good condition, ridiciculous as that twele hr stay turned into three days because I could not go home and climb stairs. On day three a nurse comes into my room and states we looked back at your mri from a month ago and realized that we missed that your L5 was lying on your nerve and we would like to perform a epidural steroid injection to relieve your pain. Did they ammend the first mri to notate this, no did they notate the l5 problem on the L5 procedure form, no, is it notated anywhere in my records, no. When I call them and ask for corrected records I am told, not going to happen and to stop calling....all I want are accurate records so I can get my problem fixed, is that really to much to ask? According to this company it is, so be careful who you use.
Pros: can't find one
