She makes snap judgments and is extremely rude. I told her I didn't think she was really listening to me and she got up to leave instead of trying to communicate with me better. She was immature and made snide comments to her staff about me loud enough for me to hear. Seriously, this is the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. She apparently forgot the oath she took as a doctor and doesn't actually care about her patients. more

This was by far the worse experience i have ever had at a doctor's office. Being new to the area and not having any one to recommend a doctor to me I just picked a name. Big mistake. Speaking to staff (in the reception area) is like speaking to a brick wall. They don't get common basic billing practices- including different types of FSA billing policies. EVEN after you personally put them on the phone with your insurance company and have them explain it to her. It's like you hear one thing, and they hear the same thing form the same person, but it means something totally different to them. This billing issue went on for a month. When I finally spoke to the billing manager- I didn't even have to explain everything. She looked at my account and told me I was supposed to get a refund. And even understood the communication problems I was having with the office. Now, 2 months later when I finally get and paid the bill I was supposed to get, they call me and tell me they haven't gotten payment from me. Why am I not surprised. :/ Scanned the copy of the check and ready to send proof I paid. Save your self the high blood pressure and go with an bigger office that is organized. I have since gone to a new doctor and am just amazed at how EASY and EFFICIENT they are. Minkus herself was nice enough during the appointment, but was dismissive and borderline rude once this whole billing issue came up. You have been warned. more

DONT BASH DR.MINKUS UNLESS ITS HIS WIFE, I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT OF HIS FOR NEARLY 10 YEARS AND HIS OFFICE IN SANTA ANA AND ARTESIA ARE BOTH THIS WAY IF HIS WIFE IS THERE NAGGING HIM, SHES A BITCH! HE IS THE BEST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE, EVEN FOR MY KIDS. VERY CARING AND UNDERSTANDING AND LOVING AND ENJOYS BEING WITH HIS PATIENTS. SO DONT BASH HIM, HE DOES THE BEST HE CAN AS BUSY AS HE IS TRYING TO RUN BOTH OFFICES AND SPEND AMPLE TIME WITH EACH PATIENT IS HARD.SOUNDS TO ME LIKE THIS PATIENT NEEDS TO BE WITH DR.BRIANS WIFE!! DR.MINKUS IS THE BEST DOCTOR EVER,ALTHOUGH I WILL BE LIVING IN LOUISIANA SOON, HE WILL REMAIN MY PHYSICIAN FOR THE REMAINDER OF MY LIFE, I WILL FLY DOWN TO HIS OFFICE ONCE A MONTH FOR MY VISITS. I started a new job and wanted to see a doctor for my yeast infection. Since my work commute is so horrible, I decided to see a doctor that was closer to my work place. Anyhow I found Dr. Minkus from the Blue Cross Directory and found my experience there very disappointing. When I called to make my appointment, the receptionist was rude to me. Her customer service skills were horrible. When I arrived to the office for my appointment, Dr. Minkus was almost 2 HOURS late! I was so furious that I went up to ask the receptionist two times what was taking him so long. When Dr. Minkus finally came to see me, he asked me minimal questions and did not even give me a check up because he claimed that, "I am not going to give you an exam because you are wearing a dress and I don't want you to go through with the hassle." I walked out of the office furious! DO NOT SEE HIM! more
