I am new to this town and took my clothes to Mini Cleaners on 2218. I had 6 shirts to be laundered and 2 pairs of dress slacks for dry cleaning. THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CARE FOR CLOTHES. The pants were fine, however 4 of the shirts were a problem. I had a Ralph Lauren shirt and an Ike Behar shirt which they used too much heat. The cuffs and collars shrivled and shrank. I can barely button my cuffs and the collars cannot be buttoned. Before they were dropped off, they were fine. Shirt #3 was another Ike Behar shirt where they ripped the collar, in addition to the shrinkage and shrivled cuffs. Shirt #4 was a Hugo Boss shirt (brand new). Luckily this one did not shrink or shrival, but the buttons melted and there is a huge burn mark on the back. The manager, Alim, tried to say this was a manufacturers defect and he is not liable. Personally, a burn mark and melted buttons does not sound like Hugo Boss. Shriveld and shrunk cuffs and collars come from improper care of the shirt (care instructions are on the tag) besides, they should know how to care for Eqyption cotton being a dry cleaner. However, all of this was said to be deffective shirts. When I stated there is no way all 4 shirts can be deffective, Alim, the manager started to curse at me and threw me out of the store. The vale of the 4 shirts was almost $500. Now, I cannot even wear them to work because they are either stained, shrivled or just will not fit anymore, even though they fit fine before I brouth them to the cleaners. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MINI CLEANERS!
