Military. I got out of the Marines about 7 years ago and had to wear my dress blues jacket for a wedding. I'd put on muscle since then and needed to have the jacket let out in the shoulders neck and chest. Anyone familiar with the uniform knows how complicated the jacket is, as its made with many different pieces and panels. She did the work in a week and it was excellent. The jacket remained form fitting, and she even found red material that matched the borders of the jacket. \r For any veterans in the area I highly recommend her, I will definitely be using her services in the future. more

This is a great convenient place to go to get hemming taken care of. Located right next to Kmart in the Parkway Center Mall, Giant Eagle is on the other side of the building. My mother, who is not easily impressed, has gone to this nice lady for quite some time. Her work has been good and fair, and I intend to go there as well. When I'm shopping for clothes, if pants are too long, i think, well, just take it to Minh in Stitches. Very nice lady runs the shop. more

The lady/owner will immediately tell you how good she is. Then she will tell you how bad others' work is, even if no work was done on your clothes (she will badger you to convince you). You will then be put into a dirty dressing room (watch out for pins and debris - the place is not clean), measure you or takes a guess, and then it is all about pricing.
